Wash It

Finally, the lab results of my experiment came out after 1 week of incubation. For biology, I designed an experiment to test the effects of washing hands and how it relates to the amount of microorganisms that cause gastrointestinal infections. This is what I obtained from my observation:

What you see is a sealed agar plate filled with cultured microorganisms that were sampled from an environment in different conditions, more specifically, my hand after being washed with different substances. As you can see, the yellow specks are the microbes that were swabbed from a cotton bud and streaked onto the plate. Microbes tend to be less populated as you go clockwise. There seems to be some pretty nasty sploges on the segment when my hand was not washed, but it isn't visible from this POV. Whole colonies formed on the nutrient, and they all originated from a single cell. Conclusion: WASH HANDS WITH ANTISEPTIC
